heya my First name is lisa...And my friends play this song to me everytime i see them.its actually quite funny because i love this song to bits..the song actually decribes me in one word..i am a bitch!! maybe that why i like the song so much.my friend maxine loves BFS she's like totally into them..and i didnt really like them until just the summer past when i was in portgual and i borrowed my foster sisters BFS cd and i was listing to this song and i just laughed cause i did actually decribe me..when i got back home and told maxine that i liked them she went away and bought me a whole load of BFS stuff..was totaly amazing. this song to me means that he's found out who he really is.its about someone who has found themself and by the "i feel alive" bit means that they actually fell like somone in the world.i guess to other people this would be a song about god.fair enough.but that is just my own opinion on the song. this songs really got to me when i heard it...i cried and re-played it..and i guess that no-one is perfect even the rich snobs you get..everyone has there bad points and everyone has there good points.people parents put there children under pressure to be "perfect" but no one is.my parent did that with me put me under so much pressure to be perfect but i wasnt never have and never will be,id rather be a rebellious teenager than one that does everything right..i like the way i am im never going to change.I dont care if i didnt grow up to the plan,i mean people out there are stuck in a life they dont want to be in...i guess thats why this song really means alot to me...someone out has said "sorry i cant be perfect"...but the other strange thing about this song is that im not sorry im not perfect.i just love this song and simple plan there the most amazing band and there songs have alot of meaning to them.this is by far my fave simple song.

Well this song mean to me that the person has become numb that they dont want to live up to what the other person wants them to be.its a bit like me my mums wants me to be like her she puts so much pressure on me to be somthing that i dont want to be..i became "numb" i didnt know what was really me and what wasnt..i shut out the whole world until i finnaly understood that my mum was puttin so much pressure on me..now i finnaly know who i really am and im nothing like her..im my own person.numb is such amazing song,it was one of the songs that helped me realise who i really was.
