| I think of "Stairway" as one of the truly iconic rock songs, like "Free Bird" and "Hotel California." They may not be the greatest rock songs ever, but they have this wonderful effect on us true (and old, in my case) rock fans - when I hear them (for the xx thousandth time) I still feel like I should stand up and salute. These types of songs bring rock fans together spiritually, no matter how old they are or how often you hear them. Yeah, I know, I sound like I'm still at Woodstock. Let's do a big group hug and sing Kumbayah. LOL! | |
