| lol... you guys are funny, they never posted back stop yelling at them, just trying to get you fans angry. This song seems to be about a witch falling to a pagan religion... pretty much what whats his butt said but fixed up. He calls the relgion "circus" but then the last section confuses my logic... hmmm, how would she be dead if shes now a pagan. I think it may be about her being forced into a relgion. Espied by the cross on her wall. Perhaps the 2rd options best?? post what you think. | |

This song is not about the end of summer, it appears that way but they mention to much about war. This lyric to me seems to be about the dead rising up and beginning a war against humanity. Clearly Dani was writing about undead. Winter spawns from barren thighs to readdress, to slay the blind. I think hes refering to the blind as relgions. Will their "god" of bridled love assuage our rule from planes above or shrink in fear from Chaos roused for war? there its questioning if god with help the holy in the war. September prayers are waning burn the shrines of fettered sheep another reference of killing religion... as everyone knows sheep repersent gods followers. Stain the milky sunset red and let the others in... I believe thats saying to kill humanity and let the "others" (speaking of demons?) in. Its saying that the war is beginning at the end of summer. But then again, maybe im wrong. In many songs Dani writes about winter ruling over summer... but "their fruit has putrified forbidden once and bound to die " is there not alot of reference to the garden of eden is this song? I think its about the unholy warring against the holy... just like most of his songs :P |

| Its not simply about a necrophiliac. Why is it that people dont look at all the lyrics. What decarabas said is exactly right, its about a child who was born to a woman who tried to have an abortion but died. His father grew up banging sluts and he lived off thier company. He felt the urge to rape, kill and molest the alive and dead bodys of young virgins considering the elements around him. It also talks about him trying to cleanse the world... its kind of a hidden message but if you read the lyrics enough you will start to get it. Its my favorite song by Cradle of Filth. I have left comments on other songs :P Check em out. | |

| "dirty little gold friggar" is supposed to be "dirty little soul figgar" whoever posted these lyrics cant understand the artist and shouldnt be trying. This song imo is based on the pope. He hides behind his golden crown looking perfect to hide the truth. The second paragraph is describing his appearence... hes old, its also saying that he gives a falses appearnce of love and light but will just rot in his grave like all others. He finishes by saying he would like to kill the pope and by the lyrics he is harming him. next part is about him staying away from relgions because he feels they are all false. The 3rd is stating that the pope is hiding and saying things that are making artist "drop his jaw" "You used to guide my fingers there" is saying that relgion has become corrupt and they are guiding the people in the wrong direction. Gold digger comment is saying how they are taking peoples money to make the leaders golden thrones and such. "Nothing is above you" That linked me to the pope considering everyone considers him the most holy living person. "glower from yuor tower" is saying that he sits up above like he is all holy and calls his people sinners and is living in disgust at them even though he himself is a liar. next part agian saying how hes keeping away from them. I made the connection "click your heels" to do with goverment, the catholics are fighting wars for god that dont seem needed. "the stars are fixed" I feel the author is saying that the positions in heaven are filled and the next line is saying would you like me to take one so you can have a spot in heaven. The palace of versailles is famous for kings having mistresses unknown to their queens. I think this is saying that hes saying that sex is a sin but hes not only allowing it but may have taken part in it as a youth. and the final lines "heaven ever weather the crosses that you came upon" is saying that god and his angels are hating the fact that they are all bearing the symbol of the cross... if you were jesus would you like to come back and see the thing that appearntly you were killed upon? didnt think so, the final line "stupid little soul friggar" is saying he is corrupting his people by leading them in the wrong direction. "gilded cunt" is just making a comment on how he is always wearing such nice garments and jewelry, taking peoples money for this. By just reading the lyrics a female comes to mind, if you look more in depth it makes sense that its about jesus, but if you think about how everything in the song connects with the pope then it seems to be obvious answer. Just adding this becuz you never mentioned the fact that the whole song talks about his plan of corrupting the human race as revenger... | This song, imo, is just going through the course of satans rule in hell... Not being a satanist I know nothing about anything, but to me the songs talking about the war in hell, his loss in the war, being cast down to hell, him noticing theres noone to rule there, and then corrupting our human race. Its obvious that the songs based on satan. Pretty much what you guys have wrote. The end of the song is just stating that hes ruined us. Half the world no longer worships god, something we would be killed for back in the day, and everyone is sinning. Just my opinion | |
