"Oh, look it stopped snowing" or "Gonna play with the braids that you came here with tonight" Interpol is not one of those bands who want to come off as profound, with lyrics SO poetic and deep that will bring anyone to their knees. no way. not even at the least. everything about them is incredibly simple. it's appalling. but somehow, they make it work. |

| to be brutally honest, this song really makes me want to rip out my earsdrums and throw them in the trash. and, i'm not just saying this to be incredibly mean. the lyrics are beautiful; however, the actual music lacks the down-to-earth essence that is usually present in their writing. something is definitely missing in this song. i can't even articulate it. but i know, i'm extremely disappointed. | |
