| Propagandhi – Back To The Motor League Lyrics
| 20 years ago
|
"Just ask the candy-coated Joy-Cam rock-bands selling shoes for venture-capitalists, silencing competing messages, rounding off the jagged edges."
In addition to this being about the bands he named, he's also really angry at the punk scene, specifically the Vans Warped Tour, which has become nothing but another music festival with corporate sponsorship, $8 bottles of water, and no seriuos agenda. |

| Inspection 12 – Red Letter Day Lyrics

This song is about being a hyprocrit. The entire song he picks away at someone, then at the end, he has a self-realization: "We've all got flaws and I've been arrogant to think. That it was only you. That's all too typical for me." |

| No Use For A Name – Exit Lyrics

He's trying to help someone stop drinking. Match my lines up with the song lines and you'll see.
The days melt together on a bender,
wakes up on the bathroom floor
but starts drinking again
The friend is powerless
Promised to quit, never did
Don't hold me back
You can't stop a friends addiction just by loving them
The friend still trys to get them to stop
Can't get through to them though
I'm not doing the whole song, but you get the idea. I might be wrong, but I like my interpertation. |

| Lagwagon – Weak Lyrics

This is just that. A weak person. He's afraid to stand up for himself. So he's passive-aggressive with peers, bitter all the time, and snaps only when drunk. The guy needs to learn to stand up to people without the help of substances. I dunno. I may have just gotten this one totally wrong. |

I don't know if this is true, but I once read someone that this song is about Dave Raun. I think that if it is, it's probably funny b/c he's in the band now. |

| Lagwagon – Parents Guide To Living Lyrics

Wow, no one commented on this? This is my favorite lagwagon song. It's just talking about the toll of pressure from society, whether it be parents expectations (no respect in his parents eyes), moral pressure (the impurity part), and how not giving in to that pressure or letting it get to you is the way get through it. Most people give in to social pressure, therefore not giving in is the road less traveled. |

| Lagwagon – Gun In Your Hand Lyrics

This isn't a suicide song to me. The gun in your hand is the power you have over your own life. Sometimes we feel like we're not in control, but this person can't see through all their sucess and potential, no one is shaping his life but him, he's at the wheel, the gun is in his hand. Only he can pull the trigger and make things happen. |

| Lagwagon – Dis'chords Lyrics

I think you're partially right. Look at it more if say, you and a guitar player in your band had rough times. Sometimes you act like friends, and then other times you're only together because it "seems like a business." I think it that is true of course, then Joey thinks it would be funny to compare relationships in a bad to music it self, Dis'Chords, end the bad notes, tune our attitudes. |

I think calling this the child inside was a mistake. I think this song is about males ashamed to get in touch with their feminine side. I know it sounds gay, but just read the lyrics again. |

| Lagwagon – After You My Friend Lyrics

I'm definitly buying into the theory that it's about not wanting/needing romantic relationships and people feeling sorry for you, and they are all self-righteous b/c they are in a relationship, so it makes them the experts all of a sudden, or at least that's what they think "Their sermons cloud his breathing air." |

xlagwagonsk8r, you pretty much got it. You were in a relationship, it's over, and you're obsessed. Thats it. It's ruining your life, her life, and even your friends lives |

I agree with you. There is an obvious pun in this sound and I don't know how many people saw it. Tragic Vision T.V. |
