| Bright Eyes – A Few Minutes on Friday Lyrics | 21 years ago |

since everybody else seems content being cliche and (sometimes) pathetic, i guess it's up to me to actually try to bring meaning to the words. this song is of course, about a girl conor cares about coming to town and how he anticipates her coming, but when she does come, they are joined by many people either at a party or some other social function. he wishes it was just him and her, and that he could put his feelings into words, but he knows it wouldn't matter or change anything if he could, so he lets her go, and return to the 'west coast' (in all likelyhood, california) while he stays with his feelings, not knowing what to do. your little interpretation for the night, kids. |

"let’s have a nice clean cut like a bag we buy and divvy up" "and all those white lines that sped us up we hurry to our death" two more lines to add to conor's catalog of drug references in his lyrics. go bright eyes. |
