@ mcbypass Wow the bigotry is out tonight. I know it makes you feel like an Internet Superhero to belittle people online, but don't you have a KKK rally to be getting to? |

| shed27 - this song doesn't have any feeling? Are you sure we're even listening to the same song here? This song is amazingly powerful and evocative. | |
| Rush – Cut To The Chase Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
The meaning of this song shares many common themes with many of Peart's other lyrics. Basically, it's about chasing a dream, ignoring naysayers and excuses; failure is not an option. "What kind of difference can one person make" is the naysayer trying to dissuade the dreamer from his course. The dreamer responds "Cut to the chase!" Similar to the themes and message of the song "Show Don't Tell." |

| Um, I'm having a really hard time figuring out how people think this song is about "the remembrance of youth" or any of that other bullshit you people came up with. This song is CLEARLY about how much he will still love this chick after she's done cheating on him. God open your ears. It means he's whipped, he's weak, etc. | |

Great song, tied with Butterflies and Hurricanes for my favorite Muse song. But don't worry, when you die, you just rot in the ground. ^_^ |

| Hey Frank - The video where the boy is riding the missle is the music video for "Distant Early Warning", not "The Manhattan Project". | |

Hey Theo, try reading the last stanza before making yourself look like an ass: "Each of us- A cell of awareness- Imperfect and incomplete. Genetic blends With uncertain ends On a fortune hunt that's far too fleet." |

| Yeah...Mothra...and Angus Young or Robert Plant or any of those guys never sang high pitched either right? Get a clue. | |
| Rush – 2112 Lyrics | 21 years ago |

In regards to Frank Perk's post - First, it's "Neil" not "Neal". Second, regarding the lyrics being a response to the failure of Caress of Steel, while this may be true, Neil explicity gives credit to Ayn Rand for inspiring him in the liner notes of the 2112 album. Third, I'm pretty sure "FloggingMolly" was joking when he posted that...but even if he wasn't, any idiot can tell that it isn't true. |
