amazing song... best on the new album in my opinion. its outon mirc thats how i have heard it. i think its somewhat as if a man or woman have moved away from a true love. they move on with their lives and somewhere down the line they meet up again. and here he or she is experiencing the same emotions in a different place. hence the ANOTHER dream. he has had this dream before, of meeting up again and here they are.. together at last. haha thats my optimistic suggestion! my other would be that he has lost his love to a death of some sort and has died and has been reunited, which i guess is just as optimistic. |

"It's a shame that our messiahs move their pawns from different mountains" I think that lyric is used to show the division in religion. I think the key word is our. They are everyones messiahs yet some hail from the middle east, europe, asia. "If a leader preaches worship to the sheep within the valley, Who'll be riding in a tank that says "just married"? " Now this part is about the seperation of church and state. He is commenting on how if a "commander-in-chief" starts pushing a religious agenda (no reference to bush...) we will have people who follow certain religions because of what their leader professes rather than what they believe at heart. That is just my take on these incredible lyrics. phil |
