he might be putting himself in the shoes of the witch trials.... and just because they hung the witches back then doesn't mean that it is a more recognized (and possibly effective) form of killing them off. too many issues in modern life can be related to salem and red scare. rape/murder/fraud/evasion/war crimes --- etc, etc. this is a fucking great song---- eat some ass if you don't like it |

leave it to TMV to completely change the setting of a story with one rush/phish/rage/slipknot/thrice/john phillip sousa breakdown. sorry if the bands mentioned don't agree, but there is more conviction and imagination on this album than most "artists" have in their entire career. even conor oberst. he may believe in what he says... but this is for a friend and his troubles. crying doesn't cut it. these guys are the matadors, period. |
