yes, this song is awesome, my sister got me onto it and now she cant stand it because i like it so much. The transition from usual slipknot music which is in my opinion: "psychotic drainage of inner pain and suffering music"...leads me to believe vermillion part 2 is the most meaningful song ive ever heard. Its as deep and torturous as the music they usually let release, but on a totally different level...a level that maybe a shiteload of more people can withstand and relate to. Its not really a "change" because they still are reflecting their inner visions but on a note that has hit them elsewhere than their pain receptors. This song is a reflection of something that has struck them right in the heart- and thats where they have started to grow and are ready to explore ...and on the meaning of the actual song... Its definately aboot a woman. I read further up that in an interview its a "stalkers song"- i dont buy it. We do it all the time dont we? If we feel a really deep emotion we dont go sharing it openly with everyone. I have a really strong suspician that these dudes have been tormented previously in their lives-or felt neglected at some stage...and I think when we feel empty for a very long time- as soon as we find someone we really like who appears to care about us back we end up becoming somewhat obsessed with them-they never know about it- and nothing ever happens-but we still feel it and it takes over our bodies...and i think thats what this song relflects. |
