xydv, I fully agree... I got the demo WAY before the "officials" were out...and I fell in love with those songs...they were, as you say, alike the timeless Fiona...all emotion and piano.....it was to the point that when I did hear the official album, I was almost shocked that she'd let the pop edge slip in a little....the Tymps song?...aaack...the first time I heard that, it made me cringe....but, despite that song, the rest on the official album aren't annihilated....in fact, I actually really like Not About Love with the electric guitar and drums....WAY more powerful and AMAZING live....but anywho...I agree with the demo being more original though.... |

nbril.. when i broke up with my b/f of a year and a few months, that exact series of lyrics was my motto for the first few months w/o him... to me, that part is just saying "i'm gonna miss new opportunities or chances of happiness if i sit and cry over him...i'm gonna get my ass in gear and move on....the breeze from my pace will dry my tears..." gorgeous...motivating....that segment competes for my favorite fiona lines... ~KraZy |
