i think the metaphor could be about sex. he talks about nature making food, n selling kids for food "send the kids to bed so u can have sex" and "weather changes moods" like it changes the quality of fruit (sex). Bruises on the fruit is old, terrible sex. When he says "all our pretty songs" (women) sing along n shoot his gun(use your imagination) but he "knows not what it means" means that he has no idea what he is doing, and the effects of it. This sounds retarded, and its prolly not true, but I like sex... |

has anyone ever read the book Brave New World? I think this tune falls into that book exactly. Its about children being amnufactured into seperate groups like the assembly line. and I think its about breaking out of a world like that. However, there are prolly much much deeper metaphors than we can imagine |

the lyrics say "remember that Blake said to make sure you wake and help save your generation" I have the CD book right in front of me. also it is "are you feeling that you're on the brink, of spilling some RED in the sink". guaranteed lyrics! and this song is about suicide. On the CD extras Max Collins says that he wrote it about a friend that was thinking about suicide a couple years back. Solid facts, buy the CD, its awesome! |

definite one night stand song. the video shows him hookin up with some chick that digs him, but he says things like "are you cool with just tonight" and "so denied, so i lied, are u the now or never kind" he lied to her to get her in the sac. It can be thought of as a leaving song, cause it is, but it was written about a one night stand, guaranteed. |
