It's a wonderful world while people all over the world die of starvation and diseases, while corrupt politicians steal money and make bad decisions, while the oil begins to run out and the economy goes down, while new wars start, while we polute with radiation and greenhouse gasses that deplete our atmosphere. I was referring to drug addicts that thought this song was about drugs and use the excuse of the name of the Album. You however said you were not in it for the drugs. Then why are you even replying? To end future pointless posts with nothing new in them that hasn't been said in the previous 6x messages, here are the basic facts pointed out from the lyrics: The political side has the following arguments: - I won't let the boogeyman come (terrorists). - Counting bodies like sheep To the rhythm of the war drums (try explaining this one you stupid pot heads). - Head down, go to sleep to the rhythm of the war drums (again). - Swayin to the rhythm of the new world order. And the retarded drug addicts side: - Album name. - Some words. - And some more words. - Oh yeah and some more words that "could" be it, they "may be" about drugs. - Insert any random word from lyrics here. Get the point? You can either argue about some stupid "interpretations" you thought up about drugs while hallucinating, or you can take a look at the words that are clearly of political relevance. Their new emotive album only backs up the fact that they don't like bush, something that is also written about in this song. Like I said, stop thinking about drugs! And just because some of you have been in the 12 step program, it does not make you any more special. Being a drug addict in the past is nothing to be going around and bragging about. What's next? Are you going to go interpret teletubby songs while taking acid and say that they are also related to drugs? To all the druggies here, keep the television on, and go overdose on whatever, just keep your dead brain cells to yourselves. As for the people that think this song is political, don't bother posting because it's been said many times over. It's kind of funny how on song meanings people think they are the only ones ever writing meanings. First some guy posts "this song is about drugs", then another posts "wow I just discovered this song is about drugs", and then someone goes "after studying these lyrics I figured out they are about drugs, I'm so edumacated". Nobody but the first poster or some diehard fan that writes an essay on the lyrics is really original in any way or smart for reposting shit that's been said and figured out by 12 year olds. |

This song sucks so much. It's funny when they played it for the first time at an awesome radio station in my city everyone called in (even U2 fans) and said how much it sucks, because it really does. I'd rather stick a soldering iron in my ears than listen to this crap. Just what we need, more hispanic crap, as if we don't have enough of the crap in this country already.
