I like No Doubt, and Gwen's solo songs, but it really irritates me that she mentions her album/clothing line in almost every song - Calling her clothes L.A.M.B. and then her album Love Angel Music Baby? That's just sad cross promotion. And it's kinda silly that she has to hire her own entourage. Those poor girls, being made to follow her around like theyre puppies. Hope they get paid lots. I read somewhere that *apparently* theyre only allowed to speak Japanese in public, even though they all speak fluent English. Dunno if it's true, but even so I think Gwen is trying too hard. WAY TOO HARD. |

I always got the words in this song messed up. The bit that goes

I used to sing it as
"...It's not fair, to the nightmare
Of the cross-eyed bear that you never met..."

the song is primarily about her finding love during a time when she thought it wasnt possible. She was going through a struggle with cancer, and feeling like crap, and then someone comes in who turns it all around and helps her through. Awwww.... |

Jet don't rip off the Beatles. The Beatles are a music era unto themselves. Their music is eclectic and original, and I don't think anyone ever sets out to sound like them. You can't copy them, and I don;t think Jet are trying to. They've been influenced by AC/DC, INXS, The Beatles, and thats why their music is reminiscent of that, but ultimately, its their own style. |

Regarding the "rush of blood" line. I don't think she actually means shes physically bleeding. It's more to do with adrenaline, like a rush of blood to her head. It's got nothing to do with her 'hymen'. And it really is a beautiful song. |
