| i think it's a song about suicide. i'm not saying she wants to commit suicide.. but maybe she wrote it when she was sad and deppressed. i mean she did go through that stage where she didn't eat and excisercised. but the song is still very mysterious and interesting. i love her! | |

i write poems, songs and stories. i recently wrote a story based on what that song means to me. i always conncected that song with something that happened to me. it could be a song that simply talks about REGRETTING SOMETHING. when it says "once upon a year gone by she saw herself give in" it could mean she did something, like soemone said here, that it was easy at that time. the next part, it's when she says she regrets it. i connected it with what happened to me. maybe she let go someone she loved very much, like she broke up with him. the next parts just talk about how much she regrets it and suffers. "soothes her mind with lies" that could mean she still thinks that he loves her, but it's not true i thought that's what it meant.. |
