Sounds like someone facing off their past demons and doing some proverbial inner digging to let them all out. It's almost inspirational, but like everything on this album, there's a creeping sense of depression and loss. It's not the kind of stuff I expect from Maiden, but not looking at it from that stand point... It's one of the best albums atmospherically that I've ever listened to. I wish people gave this album more credit. |

I think most people have hit the meaning. It seems to be about just letting loose and giving into the feelings that you have. In this context, it's about a romantic encounter. It is pretty simple but very relatable. I think we've all been in a situation where you know the vibes are there but you know the other person has put up a wall of some sort because they're almost afraid to open up to it. It's always so strange, and you just know that if the wall ever got broken down, it would be complete passion. |

| I agree. I'm not sure what it is about the Blaze era, but only a few songs actually have well written lyrics. A lot of forced ryhme and meter between this album and Virtual. Instrumentally they're tight, but a lot of really weak lyrics. | |

It's definitely not about Jesus. There are some connections you can attempt to draw, but the vast majority of the lyrics are next to impossible to reasonably connect to Jesus. Jesus knew he was coming back, and it was all apart of his plan. The lyrics in this suggest that the narrator is unsure what's about to come and only hopes to someday return to correct their past life. To me it sounds like someone who is dying (be it through illness or suicide). He knows his time is up, and now he's sitting around thinking about what's about to come, and what might come after he has passed. The constant chanting of "NO MORE LIES!" Could be someone thinking, "You know what... my time is up. I get to see what it's all about. There'll be no more lies." As for "There time is up/just like me." I don't think it's a forboding threat of murder... I think it's a person realizing that everyone reaches an end at some point, and although there are more things you'd like to do, you've sometimes got to accept the inevitable. Also, tehnoobshow... Brave New World was the first album after their reunion with Bruce and Adrian Smith. |

Not at all, I think of both songs "Too Drunk to Fuck" and "Drinking and Driving" as songs mocking abusers of alcohol. I find them both fun to listen to, they are drinking anthems, assuming you aren't a drunk. |

This song, to me, is about letting go, and not taking it all so serious. Reflecting, and just enjoying it, let the "Waves destroy you" go with the flow is baisically the theme to me. |

I like it. It IS about the government change in Russia, you can be sure of that. However to just comment on the music for a second, I must say, it sounds Russian, and it is kind of an eerie anthem persay for the free Russia. The song is very creepy sounding. Might just be me, but late at night in the dark, and you just listen to the instruments you get chills. |

They say that people only dream in black and white, which is where the lyric comes from, in my opinion. As much as I say I dream in colors, scientists say people really only dream in black and white. In my opinion, this song is about some guy who is trying to cope with something. No matter how hard he thinks about it, he just can't overcome the proplem, and he just wishes he could "Unleash the demons inside his head" IE: Tell people what he really thinks, but he knows he has to "Keep away from drifting" otherwise he'll have a breakdown, so no matter how hard he tries, he needs to stick to what he is doing, and follow it through untill the end. |

Meh, I don't really care what people believe in. We all have choices, and if you think abortion is wrong, then all the power to you. I personally dislike abortion, but I don't think it is wrong. It is wrong if used as a form of birth control, however if used under different circumstances then it isn't so bad. For instances, say a father raped his daughter, suddenly she is pregnant. Would you rather her keep a child born out of incest, with possible disabilities. OR would you rather have the baby aborted to avoid such a terrible life to be brought in to. Just a though, but abortion as a form of birth control is rather stupid. |
