I think the lyric is actually "car alarm more hiss than snake". As if to say something is all talk and no action. I could be stretching but I believe there's a car alarm company called "Cobra", the line could be a reference to that as well. Just throwing it out there. |

this one kind of hits home for me, especially the chorus. a year ago my girl got sick of my ways and decided to move out. the night she did, i went out and got insanely fucked up with some friends. i was so wasted that they literally did find me face down in the street. and it was on the night she left so there you go. all is well that ends well however. |

the only person on this page who's on the right track is "milkman" it seems obvious to me that the song is a criticism of all the bands who fall in to the category of "christian punk" (mxpx, i'm looking at you). that term almost makes me puke as much as it makes me laugh. the whole concept of a "christian punk" is a complete oxymoron. punk is about being against the establishment and not conforming to the shit that's handed to you, not clothes, haircuts and backpacks. christianity and religion in general are nothing more than the act of conforming and following the rules of "the bible" (whatever those may be since the whole thing is a giant contradiction). so, how it's possible to be a christian punk is beyond me. oh, some of you need some major spelling and grammar work, especially this "xXsieferNOFXx" character. |
