Sixpence None the Richer – Kiss Me Lyrics 21 years ago
This is a very sweet song, and vas very popular in Japan as well. There is a very intresting Japanese version available on their greatest hits CD, and somewhere on the internet there is a cover version by Avril Lagvine.

Enon – In This City Lyrics 21 years ago
I think this song is about how life in a big city can come to be too much, at cartain times. The "we found ourselves none, in this city" line refers to privacy as the city is crowded with people, maybe as many as to feel suffocated, and maybe "pray for death."

This is no way "bashing" life in a city, I live in one and it's just one bands' opinion.

Gwen Stefani – What You Waiting For? Lyrics 21 years ago
This Is a really catchy song, and the Japan line? I don't really think she's trying to exploit it, I thought that she was into the culture, the way No Doubt got into the whole Carribean culture for "Rock Steady", and Japan is cool! And Linda Perry? I find that the lyrics she writes are quite repetitive, yet catchy, like her "What's Up" song, and the songs she wrote with P!nk, and catchy is still good, imagine if the lyrics were really good and poetic, but you couldn't dance to it? I mean I really love those kinds of songs (think "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan) But Gwen seems to fit into the jumpy erratic thing.
