it's always seemed to me, especially when coupled with 'why you'd want to live here', that he's just a decent, hearty northern boy who doesn't have any use for the perpetual flow of spineless half-wits into armpits like l.a. and pheonix (just a couple of examples) simply because the weather's nice and there are plenty of like-minded dimwits to share their worthless lives with. he's seen the seasons change and has the balls to face the snowy cold in all its harsh beauty, unspoiled by overdevelopment and smog and can't understand why his friend can't see it the same way anymore. |
