botar is a band with tom, dan , and jamie of catch 22 ANDstreetlight im not sure if any other streetlight memebers were in it but tom wrote the song and it was preformed with bandits of the acoustic revolution first and then they did it with streetlight but its not a cover its just tom doing the song again with a different band. and refrences that one kid had up there were right but no holden doesnt kill him self he is just very disillusioned with society and so is j.d sallinger, he is a hermit pretty much and he has some issues with society that have led him to that. |

this song is definitely the closest thing to what 187 was on the other cd i think its compairing life to a pirate battle at sea your the captain and you crew is your crew. you try to show off to the other pirates and what not you get in a fight you get your crew to back you up. your fighting over a girl who it turns out doesn't feel the same way for you, you feel for her. and you end up getting beat. |
