i think it is about someone who turned to inflicting pain on his/herself to ease life's problems but it did not turn out the way he/she planned and now they are dying. maybe they walked away from God long ago and now they are returning under these desperate measures and asking if He remembers them. God can help you through tough times. |

i agree that its about realizing how much you need Christ and you cant live without Him. I am almost sure that this was written while they were still a Christian band. |
