| James – Laid Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| nesterreg that's an awesome interpretation and i am desperatetly trying to figure out another one. i would rather look at it as a painful addiction to a person than being a tranvestite even though once that's been brought up i can't deny ow much sense it makes. | |
| Bright Eyes – An Interview with Conor Oberst Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
This confirms that Conor Oberst lives on that fine line between genius and insanity... I have this on the end of a song on a cd of mine, I can't be alone when I listen to it, it freaks me out. |

| Coheed and Cambria – A Favor House Atlantic Lyrics | 21 years ago |
| I think this song was the first taste that most of Coheed's new fans got of the band and i suppose it's not the absolute worst way to get introduced, but it draws much different fans than those of SSTB... I hate the new influx of coheed fans who are obsessed with Claudio. As for lemmingmeringuepie you bring up some valid points. However, you have to understand that when I band who played in my town at a place the size of a closet 3 years ago is now the favorite 'new' band of 50% of the cheerleaders at my school violent impulses are ALWAYS going to be the result of this unfortunate situation. | |
| Glassjaw – Ape Dos Mil Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
I love this song and I honestly think that glassjaw is the last band that could "sell out" and I haven't used that term since like 7th grade.. PS 'theatarisownu' i actually took the time to read your novel of a comment and i agree, lately bands haven't been changing- their fans have. |

And I'll be holding my breath with the best.. my breath with the best intentions I suppose this is either about drugs or holding in a moment in time or both. |

| Bright Eyes – A Scale, a Mirror, and Those Indifferent Clocks Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
"a mirror is all it can be. A reflection of something we’re missing." All of the pain I feel during this song is because that line is so true. There's something missing and he nails every single aspect of what that something is with this song. The last line referring to the calendar is the most poingant line for me. We live our lives according to a set routine. Even if we were to look past our daily rituals... High School-College-Job-Die... there must be more than that. The saddest part is- we know it and we still don't do anything about it. |

| Taking Back Sunday – ...Slowdance on the Inside Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
I really don't think this has anything to do with Michelle Nolan, or even John for that matter. We cannot assume that everything taking back sunday performs is directly related to the only conflicts in their lives that WE KNOW ABOUT. Furthermore, Taking Back Sunday is a great band with (lately) the absolute worst fanbase in the entire world. If it's necessary I'll elaborate, but I think just about everyone on this site knows what i mean. |
