Tool – Merkaba Lyrics 19 years ago
the Merkaba is the 'ship' in which we originally descended to Earth, in our soul state - and that can be anything we choose, meditation, astral projection, whatever; it also symbolises The One; the Omni, the Everything and Everywhere.....LSD my foot....lol...yeah we can get the High or the Journey without drugs, sure we can, and MJK is trying hard to tell us that we can, here.....so, if ya get it, great, if ya dont, please try more often; the Journey is wonderful: that same Merkaba will take us up again, from Earth, to the Heavens. Enjoy! Be a frequent flyer!

Stone Temple Pilots – Plush Lyrics 19 years ago
such a great song..so amusing to see ppl using VH1, Kazaa etc as places to gain insight into why songs are written?? dher?(dont believe all ya hear in the press guys, these songs are here to get us to see where WE are with them, not the media...sigh...these guys are reporters and crytics..cynics more like!).....its interpretation is relative, and here i see the lost relationship that the guy finds himself in, definitely: he sees her leaving and is suspicious of her life outside of him....every night she goes out...very sad, and very emotional.

Tool – 4 Degrees Lyrics 19 years ago
oh, and may i add, that i really feel the woman here in this track, is a 'virgin' in that particular arena.....and he is bringing her to meet her sexual demons, with love no less; he will slay her dragons for her, how romantic and passionate is that?? hmmm?

Tool – 4 Degrees Lyrics 19 years ago
well, cliche or not, i think its probably the most erotically challenging song i've ever heard....and am open to other suggestions; however this track touches me deeply, sexually, and each time i hear it, the amazing images that fill my head make me smile. Combine the cadence and rhythm, the words and the music, and its heavenly....Long may he reign....

Nitin Sawhney – Tides Lyrics 19 years ago
India too has joined the worlds superpowers and purchased arms and nuclear weapons....Nitins' despair is of his ancestral homeland (he is a British Asian) joining, possibly, that race for destruction. The Hindu ethic is peace and understanding and you can see and feel there is a sense of irony here. Is India the last place on Earth to find nuclear weapons??? I sense his despair, i also see why tides was used...The tides carry energies from other continents. So sad, but please dont Westernise the East.

Tool – 4 Degrees Lyrics 19 years ago
ok...well....my boyfriend led me to Tool, and I thank God that he did; i love them. am moved by them and this track is no exception. However, he did explain, with a twinkle in his eye, the more 'base' explanation of its connotation - and it makes me smile a lot when i hear it, every time...does it matter what it means, it'll resonate with us all in different ways

Jeff Buckley – Last Goodbye Lyrics 19 years ago
....'kiss me out of desire, babe, and not consolation...' oh my.....that resonates sooo much with me. Dont PITY me hun, please, kiss me cos you LOVE me!! The guy is inspired, open and totally authentic in this track (well, whats new?), and it shines soo bright that it breaks your heart. I cant feel a 'painlessness here....' i hear a feeling of throwing your arms up in the air, surrendering to the inevitable, but not painless at all.....the chords are full of crippled anxiety....sorry, but its how it makes me feel......and wonderful in its honesty. Thanks Jeff xx

Jeff Buckley – Lover, You Should've Come Over Lyrics 19 years ago
my kids, who i recently introduced to Jeff as a man who changed my life, bought me the Grace 2004 DVD, and now i get to see the great man perform a song that brings me to my knees......we can reflect on what he felt then, what we miss since his passing, and how many he has inspired because the man wasnt afraid to bare his most intimate feelings, and recognise loss. Pure chemistry.....Long live his memory and his excrutiating recollections....Go with the Big Energy xxxx
