I read all the posts before this one, and one thing no one mentioned was "Jesus was an only son" line. I mention that because Billy too was an only son.. or as far as I know he is. And to the person that said the song might be about D'Arcy; it could also for the same line, "fake it for one more show" be about Billy, because he's had long term depression, however, always looked like he having a good time from all the live footage I've seen of him. So just maybe he might've been "faking." And also, almost everyone's opinion on what the song might mean are all too similar. Him being in a cage and not being able to do anything about is all evident, but what the reasons and circumstances are are uncertain, and none of us know for sure. |
