| Guns N' Roses – One In A Million Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Can't we all just get along? This song is him giving his views, which would be perceived by many people as racist and homophobic etc. When he says 'don't point your finger at me' he is telling people who are ready to attach him for the views he has just expressed to back off. He does have the right to freedom of speech after all even if the things he says are deeply offensive and ignorant. I think as well as a big 'fuck you' to political correctness this song was probably intended to raise loads of controversy and publicity for GnR. |

| Enter Shikari – Sorry You're Not a Winner Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I agree with binzyvicious, the only thing I would add is that the 'false intentions' are when he tells himself he is going to try to quit but it's false because he knows that he can't. | |
| Sonic Boom Six – Danger! Danger! Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Hmm.. as with most SB6 songs think the lyrics speak for themselves! The word danger has started to look strange after reading it so many times though.. |

| Say Anything – An Orgy of Critics Lyrics | 19 years ago |

The first couple of lines make me think of having to work in a hard badly-paid job, like sweeping in a supermarket to pay the bills. Maybe the singers experience before the band took off. Then putting the feather in the box and sending it off is sending a demo to a record company. A feather cos its a small part of what helps him fly away, his music And 'send it off to me' and the bit about smelling oxygen is the record company realising they have a chance to make money. So yeh.. in short I think the song is about the bands struggles, like brokenparachutes said :) |

| Reuben – Freddy Kreuger Lyrics | 21 years ago |

maybe the lyrics have changed cos on the album im pretty sure it says This is for my band The ones who shared the struggle the whining and the bitching sat on my sofa my friends all went to college I still live in my dads house thinking about it and though you may regret it you said it cos you meant it always together a touch of cabin fever we find out how we really feel chorus When I was 15 I swear it looked so easy you go out and you get paid cut you an LP you slam it on the tv and now its just another day down... |

| Biffy Clyro – Justboy Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
i think that this song is about a boy who is in love with someone, but she doesnt want him so he despairs and feels worthless and helpless. however he still hopes that she will change her mind 'i am hoping through the dark clouds light shall break and bring a bright sky' |
|
| Biffy Clyro – Stress on the Sky Lyrics | 21 years ago |

| Biffy Clyro – There's No Such Thing as a Jaggy Snake Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
This song is my favourite off the new album. I love the way the song changes so much from how it starts to the 'you twist you turn wrapping around me' bit. 'you think too much about the wrong things' this is too true for most of us. Can't wait to see them play this song :oD |

| Biffy Clyro – Christopher's River Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
This song makes me think of a father/son relationship. The singer is the son, and is dependant on the father to hold his 'head above the waves'. 'our shadows softly on the grass day would break we'd have our laughs our shirt-tails in the wind seems like yesterday my friend' This could be the son's fond memories of spending time with his father. The father is gone, perhaps passed away, and the son is feeling a great sense of loss- 'wish the sky would fall on me'. Anyways, its a great song :o) |

| Biffy Clyro – Convex, Concave Lyrics | 21 years ago |
|
My favourite song of all time. Convex, concave is the perfect title for it because for me the song is about feeling two opposite emotions for someone- wanting to hurt them and loving them. Its about destroying something beautiful. I think the song is about power. Normally when you love someone, they have power over you, but in this song the singer has the power- the situation is the wrong way round; convex instead of concave... |
