Ok. Let's clear this up. www.CobainCase.com is not bull. It's based on Tom Grant, the private investigater that worked on this case with Courtney Love. On Kurt's death, he would have died in seconds, but even ready to shoot himself, he would have immediately been incapitated. That "hitman" was El Duce, from a band called The Mentors. My mother's friend, "Horndogger" was the drummer. "Sicky Wife Beater" (band member) was also consulted on this matter of killing Kurt. He did not. Nor did El Duce, it seems. El Duce died after picking up beer, by a train. Those who knew El Duce, he would have not fell asleep with beer. Kurt did not commit suicide, evidence proves. But the Seattle PD came to the scence, said it was a suicide, and won't re-open the case. That's why there are www.JusticeForKurt.com, www.KurtCobainCase.com, www.CobainCase.com (yes, there are two "cobaincase" sites, with different names--note.) Courtney may have killed him, but he did not kill himself. There is no proof that IMMEDIATELY says, "Courtney did it! It was her!" or anything such. It may have been her for the things surrounding his death. Kristen Pfaff and Narcotics Detective Antonio Terry are found dead, one, Kristen probably knew about Courtney's involvement in Kurt's death. Kristen was leaving Hole and town, so guess what happens? She's found dead in her bathtub, from drug-overdose. Many say Courtney did it. Questionable. Terry's death doesn't seem to have anything to do with it, but it's on the questionable list. As for Courtney writing songs, if you look at the lyrics and compare them to Kurt's in Journals, Nirvana's songs (the ones HE wrote) and his phrases, you will see that most of the lyrics (post-1994) are Kurt-based. I believe that they were taken from Kurt. Since he was dead, what could he do? And if Courtney didn't tell, it'd be alright. I just wanted to clear those few things up. But for the song Celebrity Skin . . . I love it. It's got wonderful music and the video was great. Ok, someone asked about lyrics to Serve the Servants and why it was saying that if the person floated they wouldn't be a witch. What I'm guessing at: A) if (s)he floated, they'd be going to heaven B) if she got high ("floated") (s)he wouldn't be a witch, but someone just looking for a way out for now But those are only guesses. This song is one of the best, I will have to agree, that Michael has done. I'm not saying THE best, because I find You Rock My World and Another Part Of Me to be just as good. Anyway, as some of you have said you grew up on Michael Jackson, I did, too. He is and was a great writer and a talented singer. To me he is the human piano. But on about the song, I agree with some of the theories many of you have posted. Yes, I do believe it was about a hitman trying to kill Anne, maybe failing or maybe doing so, but Michael is singing this when it happens. Maybe this hitman was in a mafia or something and Anne didn't do something she said she would, quote "it was your doom". Yeah. Great song. Great artist. I could be wrong, but I think it's about a girl he's just made up. Like, she's imaginary, you know. This is how I analyze it: "She seems dressed in all the rings" - I think it's like, you how you cut down a tree and it has rings? Well, it's because the trunk is growing outward from the little tree that started it. I believe what this means it that this girl is the deepest thing inside of him, like his deepest, darkest secret and she makes him everything he is. "... enter the night that she came home forever" - I think this part means that as soon as he came up with her, that she wouldn't go away and that his mind is her 'home'. "She's the only one that makes me sad" - I believe he made her like a real person, that's why he gets so upset. She's so real but she isn't there, and that he's confused of what to think and do. So I think that what he is trying to say is that he feels she isn't there for him, and you know what it's like to love someone very much and them not being there for you, it's hard for him to accept. "I'm a slave, and I am a master" - I think what this means is that he is the master because he came up with her and control what she does, but when she's 'around' him, he's flat on his face for her. She just controls him because she's just like that, because that's the way he made her. "She is something in me, that I despise" - I believe he's sick of himself thinking that she'll be real when she isn't. I think that he wants to let her go but he can't because she'll only take the love and the security he has from him. "I won't let this build up inside of me" - This, I think, has a few meanings. One, that if he keeps on thinking that she is there and that they're in love and such that she'll just build up in his little fantasies that he may have, and everything he says and that she 'says' will build up and count against him. "SHE ISN'T REAL! I CAN'T MAKE HER REAL!" - This is basicly summing up and being able to tell himself that she isn't real, but he won't accept it. Yeah, I know. Long post. But thanks. =D.
