one of the best coldplay's best songs. to me it is just a very optimistic view on life. everyone has problems, everyone is sad or feels "neglecgted" at some point, but in the end its never as bad as it seems. they say theres a type of music or specific song for every feeling or situation, and this song prooves it. play this song when youre having a bad day and it really makes you feel better as if despite all of the problems everythings not lost. |

this song is about a person who ruined a relationship/ friendship by accident and desperately wants to get back to normal but can't. for example a friend tells another friend they have feelings for them but that statement ends up ruining the firendship because of it. |

this song is about a person being in love, but theyre not exactly sure how they feel about it. the "bubble" represents the delicate relationship that could "burst" at any time. even despite uneasy feelings the relationship continues because of trust. much like you trust people not tohurt you by driving at high speeds, the subject trusts that his love wont hurt him |

to me this song is about absolute obseession with a person who doesn't feel the same way about you. it's about overlooking obvious warning signs telling you to not care and loving someone anyway. its about changing everything about yourself just to be better in that one persons eyes but none of it makes any difference. one of my favorite coldplay songs. |
