i think the "we'll go to Ohio and steal Cadillac's for a living." has to do with the reference to johnny cash being played on the radio, there's a johnny cash song where he steals a cadilac piece by peice, then builds it and it turns out he has different parts from each year.it's a song called "one peice at a time" anyway, that's what i think. good song :) |

hahaha, i was at work and a guy (who work with) came up and had a little chat with me, i can't even remember what it was about, but i just remember actually feeling tall ( i am very short, he is very tall) man, chris' lyrics are great. i just kept thinking about this song. and i find myself daydreaming sometimes of this guy, searching for moments like that, moment where i feel so careless and amazing. damn. |

i think this song is about them getting bigger(more famous). there's all this pressure to be amazing (which they are), and he feels it, and he think his time might be short lived, he doesn't want to "sell out" but he feels like some people might think he has. but it's ok, cause he's still breathing, he's still making it, but he might not have that for too much longer, and when that time comes, you can watch him disappear. |

this song means a lot to me. i went through a time when all i wanted to do was lay in bed and cry. a close friend sent me a mix tape which had this song on it, along with some crystal light. the gift, along with this song changed me. it helped me get out of bed and get on with life, cause even if it sucked, it was still worth living. this song to me, means that i could take all these drugs, i could go to a shrink, but what it all comes down to is the fact that i am the only one who can change the way i feel, cause after a while, those drugs don't help. you have to just suck it up. cause i believe in me, and that's what i have to do. |

i adore this song. it gives me little chills when i hear it. sometimes it can even bring me to tears because i have had those exact feelings. the line"you're the metaphors i can't create to comprehend this curse that i call love", yes, the whole thing is going to be my next tattoo. that is the single most beautiful line in any song i have ever heard. justin is so great at making me feel the same feelings i would assume he felt during reading this letter. brilliantly sung, this video even makes my heart sink a little. |
