I think there is obviously a lot of different opinions about this song...which is the great thing about music...you are all right! I think a lot of things, like what these lyrics mean, but I the biggest thought I have about this song is how great it makes me feel! Like wanting to put down the windows and cruz downt he highway at about 95mph. What a great feeling!! Great, timeless song...Kind of makes me want to stay young forever-know what I mean?? |

God Damn! This song has gotten me through some hard times, talked me through a lot of pain and times of giving up...thats what makes it so great. EVERYONE has problems, and this song gives a messages that anyone could relate too, how powerful is that!! |

What a song-perfect explanation of life, love, growing, changing, and just battling through the good and the bad. Reminds me of my Dad-he is such a fighter, and I think this song is about that...someone who has lived a long, perhaps difficult, and full life-he's old now, but God Damn he's still runnin' against the wind!
