i think maybe...its like when youre in a relationship...and theres that first !!!!!! part of it, and then you start getting more comfortable with eachother, but with that you start noticing less the little things, and sometimes just the change of it, while not bad, can make ya sad? not sure if thats really how to word it. |

to me, what this reminds me of, is that someone has been down for awhile, and theyre getting involved in this relationship..but before their hesitant to let their heart go and kinda wanna see what happens when you "apply some pressure" kinda like trial by fire? maybe because of how things have gone in the past...but they know that even if everything goes wrong, you just start over again, thats life. your heart keeps beating. and maybe that hes tying in their relationship with his continuing living or not? like hes already got a lot pinned on this person even if he doesnt quite wanna admit it yet maybe im way off though |

to me it seems likes its from a friends point of view, about his friend and her girlfriend. he's describing what she went through trying to 'save' him, and also how much its hurt him to lose this friend., whether it be to drugs or some other thing. definitely one of my favorite songs |

i LOVE the lyrics..but not the music, or the vocals, thats just me. the lyrics are amazing though shes kindof saying that [obviously] she really needed someone and when she did, is when they werent there. sounds like she wants to give up, but only because they feel like giving up..the "broken in them" doesnt "make her run" but shes afraid that the broken in her will make THEM run. and that no matter how hard they try, it just keeps getting worse thats just me though |
