Now, not to be the type that comes on the these message boards to talk about the band's personal lives, but... With the homosexual comment, I think you may be quite right. Many signs point to Bert being gay...pictures, interviews, song lyrics...But I don't want to piss people off further. So if you want to talk, message me!! Now for all those people that I expect will bitch at me: there is NOTHING wrong with being a homosexual...I just wanted to further the point...maybe that is what the song is about. Meth and doin' it in the ass? But yes, about the song...I love this song. This, as well as "Choke Me", are my favourite songs by The Used. Both songs are so powerfull and edgy. I love it! |

ilovejim: about what he is saying in the middle of the song... (when he starts talking and there is female laughter in the background)...Well I am listening to it right now and this is how it sounds (to MY ear): "Its like a fucking drug deal. Im sitting here waiting. I'll call you back, or you can call me back. Its fucked upand at the same time..." That, to me, seems quite correct. I couldn't hear the rest of the last sentence because the band starts to drown him out a bit...But yes, that is what I gathered. So I hope that helps...If anyone can make out the last sentence or so message me or post one...I don't see how you would find out by ear though; I listened to it eight times straight, solely for that part. -x.Chloe.x |

Oh..and I forgot something else...I could be wrong about this too but: where it says: "And won't you think I'm pretty When I'm standig top the bright lit city And I'll take your hand and pick you up And keep you there so you can see As long as you're alive and care I promise I will take you there We'll drink and dance the night away" Isnt it "Until you can dance the night away, until you can dance the night away." instead of "We'll drink and dance the night away"...? Just a thought..Oh and another thought: where it says "and won't you think I'm pretty"...I know for a FACt, that lyric is incorrect. Its actually: "You must think Im pretty..." |

Ok...I'm probably wrong but I think some of those lyrics are screwed... It says up there: "It's four o'clock in the fucking morning Each day gets more and more like the last day" But isnt it: "It's four o'clock in the fucking morning Each day gets more random like the last day" ? This of course is just by listening to the song that I figure the lyrics aren't right, Im too lazy to check somewhere else...but yeah, I could be wrong and maybe a tad deaf. |

Breaking the Broken: You said: "she" was Kelly Osbourne. He's better off without that bitch Bert McCracken (and Kelly Osbourne's) personal life set aside, this is an amazing song and I dont listen to, or enjoy, Kelly Osbourne's music, but I think she was a perfect touch in this song. I think this song is about someone leaving their "lover" right before the Holidays (as Kamizaze Fool said) Great song! |
