This song is absolutely amazing, my favorite parts are when he sings higher...like at the "Oh my God" part and "on the mouth" this song has an indescribeable feeling to it, it's so amazing...probably the best on the album..but it's hard for me to decide yet, since i'm in love with the entire album currently...it takes me about 3 weeks to decide which are my "favorites" |

I think it's about suicide the "had the perfect job called life you didn't like it you resigned" makes it sound like suicide. the person resigned from life, and perhaps chemicals were involved. or maybe the person didnt kill themselves, maybe they just messed up their life with chemicals, like drugs and stuff.... and perhaps the lead singer, daniel, can't stand to see a picture in which the person who "resigned" is in, so takes it down, and is just feeling really low and depressed. |

Perhaps the song is called 'unfinished' because it doesnt ever say what the two become, it leaves you hanging...at least thats what I thought the first time I listened to it. And maybe he has an unfinished feeling involving the person this is about, perhaps because she doesnt know how much he loves her. |

This is one of my all time favorite songs. Everything about this song expresses so much feeling and emotion. The words, his voice, the cresendos and decresendos. everything. wonderful. I've felt the same way expressed in the song a few times...and I love listening to it. It's so straight forward, but yet kind of complex and more than surface deep at the same time...so awesome. He has a wonderful talent of expressing himself wonderfully through words, without having to use many. Which is what makes it so direct, and radical in my opinion. |

Yeah, this song is just about how addicted people are to cell phones, computers....just technology in general. and feel its a part of them, and cannot separate themselves from it. and maybe the "We can stay in touch this way so we can stay and touch." Is about 2 people staying in touch by technological means, who are apart for some time...so when they are back together it seems like it's ok to "stay and touch" as in sexual things. I don't know though. |

my favorite lines of this song are "i'm not what's missing from your life now i could never be the puzzle pieces" That just shows so much despair, and perhaps before, a person he loved was longing for him, and felt the same, and felt he could make her life complete and be the "puzzle pieces" but then that person met someone else, and replaced him. and he says he could never be the puzzle pieces because he thinks he is inferior to that person. "they say that god makes problems just to see what you can stand before you do as the devil pleases and give up the thing you love" thats self explanitory and so beautiful. "but no one deserves it" that part is very emotional, that one little line, it shows so much empathy. |
