This song is beyond any comprehensible words. Aside from 'love of my life'. This band is so catchy and has such a mature sound and lyrics that it's hard to believe this is only their first CD. And just the title of the song is such a thrill. I love how they don't always just take lines from the song to make their titles, but it still has to do with the lyrics. Brilliant. |

Actually, however much it seems like it's a Fight Club reference, Ryan Ross [guitarist/lyricist] said that it was not a reference to the movie. That was just something that people got out of the song, he didn't intend for it to be a reference to anything but his real life. Beautiful song. I got the CD the first day it came out and I haven't put it down since. |

By the way, calebsystem. I went back and read some of your other posts. I would just like to say...what the hell is your problem with African-American people? You are obviously a racist. Here is just a smaple of one of the many racist things you have posted "...except for the black people. I guess the music was to complex for them.". How can you go around calling yourself Christian with comments like that?! You are not a person of Christ! You are a racist, uneducated *kid* from a family so horrible that they taught their child to hate someone of a different race. And don't try to justify your reasons for posting that comment. calebsystem-- Just to let you know, first off, I am not sorry about anything I said. And, it's not like I called you the anti-christ or something, I just said that the way you act shows that you are not really a true believer in patience and virtue (aka Christ). I'll admit, I sounded a bit harsh at times, but you deserved it. Oh, and, also, about that being 'very low'...wasn't it you who called somebody 'dumb' earlier in a post about this song? Or am I mistaken? I'm pretty sure that Christ wouldn't accept that, now would he? Hitler? Hitler wasn't brought up in my conversation at all. Save that for yourself. Also, if I had wanted to 'attack' you...believe me, there would be verbal abuse going on. But, I chose to state my opinions, not attack. I'm glad that you are a Christ-follower and I'm glad that you are proud of that. You also have to realize, though, that the Bible isn't the only Holy book in the world. It's the Holy Book only for Christians. So, if you had a Jewish person acting like you are, they would be saying that what is written in the Torah is completely correct and there is 'no gray area'. So, you see, Religion *is* an issue that will never be solved because no matter how much Christianity dominates, other religions will still be around. So, therefore, your religion isn't the 'right' one for anyone but you and all the other people who choose to be your religion out of free will. So, when you say that who will be saved is written in the Bible, it means nothing to someone with a different Holy Book than yours, because that Book says different things. Thanks for listening and how ever much you *think* that I am trying to 'attack' you, I'm not. It really is good to see someone out there rooting for Christ, but not everyone's a believer in the Bible, so religion is officially an unsolved, very touchy, subject. |

And just for your information, my personal opinions are allowed to differ from those of my Church. Just because I'm "liberal" (as you said) doesn't mean my Church is. And since when do you decide who goes to Heaven and who goes to Hell? You're telling me that a perfectly honest, good Catholic person who has followed Christ all his life (and Catholic people belive in Jesus Christ...they don't worship the Pope, as you make it sound like they do) would get sent straight to Hell by God himself just because he was Catholic? You need to find out about other religions before you speak. You are obviously not very educated about them. And since every religion can't be right, who says yours is the right one? If not every religion can be right, none of them can be wrong, either! You sound like a very conceited person to me and the way you act, forcing your religion like that, will not get you into Heaven, I'll tell you that. | |

To calebsystem3 -- Sorry to say, but the "right way" for you, is not the right way for everyone. Not all people belive in Jesus and even though you did present yourself in a mature way (props to you), you still (probably inadvertently) mildly insulted someone of a different religion than you. I personally do believe in Jesus Christ, but I don't go around telling people that Buddhism is wrong, because it most certainly isn't. Neither is Judaism, and Jews do not believe Jesus was the savior. And you are insulting alot of people by calling the Pope 'lousy'. There are alot of Catholics out there who put their faith and trust into what they learn from their own church and while there is a boatload of controversy surrounding the Catholic Church, that doesn't make the Pope bad or any of the Catholics bad. Let's face it...Media loves contorversy involving religion and anything they can get their hands on is good enough for them. Well, there have been different controversies involving all types of religions, so enough with the "my religion is the right religion" stuff, okay? -- Anyhoo, about the song...*ahem* ^.^'! It's a beautiful, encouraging song. It, to me, is about picking yourself up when you fall down. Trying again and forgetting your past failures. Wonderful lyrics, too. Oh, and to whoever was talking about them 'repeating the same lyrics over and over' earlier, repetition is often times used in poetry (or songwriting) to make a point and personally, I find it works well in this certain song. |

truongt41- haha! hammer time! Alright! Can't touch this! Ok...about the song...If this song makes you want to commit suicide...you may already have some mental depression issues. Check with your psychiatrist on that one, hon. And...it is an awesome song! I love it! Although, I'm not sure about the 'covered in blood' thing when they are talking about when you are old...o.0...kinda weirded me out the first time I heard it. ^-^'. It makes more sense at the beginning, because when you are born...ok...well, I don't need to go into detail, we all get it, right? I guess they did the 'old, cold, covered in blood' thing just for lyrics sake, so it would match up with the beginning!
