I can relate somehow to this song. "I guess I only claim to be nice" It's like...on the outside I'm all nice, I have to be, its expected. But on the inside I hate everyone so much, and I'm not nice at all...if that makes sense. I think this song is a bit metphoric too, when it's written: "Most relaxing thing I do - hang half way out a third floor window" It's like in your head you're always on an edge. I'm finding it hard to describe in this song... :/ |

This song confuses me, I think most of it's metephorical, and I personally think it's about him perhaps trying to revive a relationship that has died. However some of it seems quite literal, so it gives me the slight impression that it could be about someone he know's who has died...not sure though |

This song could possibly have a different meaning for everyone, it does't have to be about a certain thing. I personally think, now (as I was unsure before), that it's more directed towards suicide, what with the 'turning red right in front of me' part and the 'what they say of the grass on the other sides true' bit, that could possibly mean that, if he believes in heaven' that if he died then he'd go to a better place...or if he died then he wouldn't have to go through pain anymore, it's be better. |

I love this song, but somehow I can't relate to it right now, other SoCo songs I can relate to perhaps a bit better. But this is an amazing song, the live version is incredibly emotional, Andrew obviously means it a lot. |
