This song isn't about sex, rape or relationships. I realise that this can be read in those lines, and all, but really I think this song is about drugs. To be more specific, amphetamines - most likely MDMA, aka extacy. The candy. "First off, let me say: you look so tired. Rest your head and shut your eyes. Empty ambition blankets the sky... I'm thinking 'bout another world tonight" Clearly, a damsel in distress is tired and doesn't want to leave. She knows he has some candy, so she hits on him. "so drop the gown the game's over just push your face into the fight" Ok, I'm changing my mind here. The drug is clearly a powder. Same drug, though. Ok, maybe you have to deal with some shady people, or people associate you with rape if you tell them about candy - but c'mon, let's not care about that. Just enjoy the ride. Oh god, I just really dont understand why people submit these translated lyrics. That is not "lyrics", that is a "translation". Anyway, this song portrays a beautiful journey. I especially like the part where he sings: "Sverdslag knuste kristmanns skalle Lenge hersket vi, Nordens konger" That really illustrates how I feel about life in general. It's really deep. |

Okay, I'm done. I joined this stinking place just to correct you bigtime emo donkeys. These lyrics are fiction, and your whiny reactions ("haha they suck", "linkin park is more hardcore", "he needs to get laid") are just stupid and ignorant. You're all unintelligent dumbasses. Just by looking at your comments (brief, badly spelled and with no arguements whatsoever), I can tell that you're all just plain dumb. Thank you. This song is - by the good tradition of Cannibal Corpse - very offensive to some people. But then again, I believe that people who can be offended by song lyrics should be shot on the spot. It's pure fiction, get over it. If you fail to see the artistic point of view in these lyrics, you fail at life. It really doesnt take much to see how many deep feelings these lyrics can touch within a person. It's really not about the actual act of taking a knife, cutting off a clit and eating it. It's the emotions the fiction character experiences when doing so. He feels fulfilled, he feels alive. |
