i watched wonderland the val kilmer film about John Holmes and just before the end credits This song played and if you have seen it youll know what i mean by saying that whae watching that movie it just gets a hundred times better by this song just playing the lyrics and melody definately fit the song amazing a true talent |

this song is great and the lyrics are definately some of the best in the world but the music i have listened to alot and seems to remind me alot of Guns and Roses and there song November Rain im not calling them a rip off or that im just saying thats all and i also think living on a prayer is a good song the lyrics are great but the music ver similar to sweet child o' mine but hey bon jovi still rock but there best lyrics to date have to be someday ill be saturday night a song that makes you happy and sad at the same time a rollercoaster of emotions very good if you want to discuss any musical matter with me im open for some good questions and debates so feel free to e-mail me at philmck2004@yahoo.co.uk |

and what i think the song means i know what peole are saying by saying its about drugs with the lyrics "if youve got the money honey we got your disease" but i think going by the video aswell its about the whole band as they just came on to the scene a bunch of fresh faced rockers openiong a whole new world of madness with pain and hurt drugs and prostitution they new there was no turning back once they were in the jungle it was a whole new ball game |

hi there how yall doin im so glad weve got peole like slickvic that can jump to the defense of a good band i abslutley love GNR and why is everybody talking about Slash yeah hes awsome but as far as being the whole band thats a crock of shit axl is a genius and hes definately not a nobody hes axl rose a legend in every sense of the word a lyrical genius and does evrybody seem to forget izzy who also wrote alot of GNR stuff and when he departed the band had lost a great talent and a wonderful writer i think thier just amazing they atarted a whole new generation and were an insparation for other bands of that time like Bon jovi but all and all ther frikin great.!!!!!!!!!!! |

i agree that it is a couple arguing and that the man and woman are alternative singers i think she is to caught up in her own problems and has no time for him she asks him whats up he tries to tell her she doesn't listen and goes mad thats when after two verses of him explaning himself he finishes by saying "you'v not heard a single word i have said"
hes trying to explain that yes hes been taking drugs and been out all night but iff she gave him a reason to come home he wouldn't be doing it which relates to the lyrics "its hardly what id be doing if you gave me a choice" and if hes doing something wrong she needs to tell him instead of shouting all the time
and to explain the lyrics " your a big boy now so lets not talk about growth" i think its just that she sees what he saying by blaming her for his mistakes as childish and petty and your a big boy now make up your own mind in doing what you want its not my fault you take drugs but hey its just an opinion. |
