this song was written abotu a girl who claimed to work in a coffeshop in manchester. she would arrange meets with one of the band members but never show up and she never picked up her phone. she probably gave him the wron gnumber anyway. it's a song about trying to get to know someone whilst they're playing a game with you and toying with your life. making you almost a puppet. when he did go to meet her in a place she mentioned, she wasn't there but the next day she claimed she was stood up and that she was there all along. although a few weeks later he found out that the place never exsisted and she'd toyed him again. slut..... |
