this is just a wierd theory that i cant get out of my head: Has anybode heard the story about a couple that travveled to their friends on an abandon road and on the radio the hear that there is a maniac killer on the loose in the area... then their car brakes down. And the chick stays in the car (you said I'm not going far, go wait in the car) and the guy says "i will knock three times on the roof of the car, then you know it's me" And after hours of waiting she hears the knocks, four knocks, five knocks...and the knocking continues until the morning comes... In the morning a policeman opens the door and tells the girl "come here, but whatever you do.. do NOT turn around!" she does and sees her boyfriend handing in a rope from a tree...his feet bouncing on the roof in the wind... "this bouncing baby boy's now turning baby blue".. BUT!! I do not think he talks about this DIRECTLY!! but I believe he uses this as symboloc for someone who is not dead but is a very bad person... for example a guy or chick who do drugs "bed and breakfast in a spoon" and is responsable for someone elses death but blames it on someone else... and just pity himself or herself fot their situaion..when its completely his or her fault... Anyway, this is a stupid theory, but it may have at least SOME truth... |

| The song could also be about a good relationship that turned out bad... and THAT part is about sex.. becasue when you've got dumped and are alone at night that feeling is very exact.."Anyone will do tonight" is exactley what you feel...and the "coming over but it never was enought, I thought of you and my worst brings out the best in you" part could mean that she stopped loving him and it didnt make any difference what he did.. she wasnt going to change.. and that afterwards he was an ass to her and that only made her sweeter and prettier in his thoughts... thats how i understand it... | |

Clembo2006 is right... have anyone seen this song live... or read the lyrics? becasue in the end of the lyrics it says : "I am you, I am in you" ..and when they perform this one live (on some talk show) Adam sings "I am in you, just for one night"..and honestly... what guy wants to be inside of John for one night? :S ... I read somwhere that someone thought that this song is about sex..and i think it's pretty close to the truth.. And in the lyrics sheet it says something like: "I could go all night (all night long..really)" or something..maybe not exactley but almost.. and I think that reffers pretty much to sex or love... Think about that... |
