Actully one of tfks more lyricly involed songs off the old album. The song starts speaking to god about how he wants to "cut off his strings" and break away from the normal conformity of life. It then switches to singing to peers or individuals saying "stop frontin'"... aka stop being something your not. Don't conform to what other want, stand up for what u no is right. Dont be afraid to express your faith. and again with the "If they say jump, how high ya gonna jump?," we need to step out and stop following ans stard leading. the next parts are just more of tfk's trademark rapping rambling ( gotta love it ) althought in the last verse slight reflection of his new insight to be individual and to express his beliefs shows thtough. "what ya think of me now, I'm lettin' my dawgs out, makin' it loud so hear me shout, what" like i said... slight... awesome song though... |
