I wasnt high or anything I was just laying in my bed and listening to this cd and by the time it got to the part of this cd where it was the climax of this song I was... | yeah, I heard that cover, and I agree, it is good. But there is no way that is Keenan. The singer sounds nothing like him, and hes a little too ametuer. He's not a great singer but he tries and I think, all in all, that it is a great ametuer cover. Beautiful. | |

K, a line by line breakdown, WOO! "Found you there in the blink of an eye" love at first sight "I miss you" well... if you have ever been in love you would know that whenever you are not with that person you miss then terribly. "Turned away into a thousand dreams. Found out what they mean" He has been dreaming of the perfect woman, and he has turned away from many women, and looked back to his dreams, the perfect girl. He has found the girl in his dreams. "Lost you there in a moment of truth, I trust you" well, based on personal experience, I would say this line means that maybe he found out that she may be with some other guy aswell and got angry and confronted her about it. Ultimately, he decides to believe her. He "Lost her in a moment of truth" (when he confronted her) but he says he trusts her. "Gave away the one and only heart, A gift to tear apart" Probably the most self explanitory line in the song... "Stain me, Save me, Take me to my home. Hold me, Show me, Take me to my home" well... this is the "making love" part of the song. They just decide to forget about their problems and "do it" :-P. "weaker now, drawing fluid from me, you kill me" Once his boner goes away, he realizes that maybe he made a mistake in believing her (as every guy knows, once it goes away you can think more clearly :-P). "drawing fluid from me, you kill me" well... for lack of a better term, the fluid part is ejaculation... and afterwards he is emotionally drained ( and maybe physically :-P) and he is weaker now. "I'm not afraid of what you have just done, but of what you've just become" Though she has lied to him, betrayed him, and used him for sexual pleasure, he still loves her and is more concerned for her future now than what she has done to him. His "Weakness"es I believe are two things. One, he cares too much, (which can be concidered a weakness in a situation such as this). And Two, plain and simple, sex. I can totally relate to this song. I believe that sexual desires are a HUGE weakness, if not my worste. I wish I didnt have them, and I believe that this song-writer does aswell. |

First of all, I think its "There's so many of us" instead of "There's so many opposites". With that said, I think that this song is saying that we are having a war for more reasons than the obvious. They are saying that we are having a war to control the population of America. "Theres so many of us... Lets have a war so you can go and die... We need the space" It makes sense right? I dont know if this song is a cover, and if it is than I obviously dont know what song its a cover for, so I may be very wrong. But I thats what I think the song is about. |
