these lyrics ben wrote sounds very similiar to the evanescence songs. they are always dark, and depressing.
ben was diagnose with bipolar disorder. i tihnk thats like a disorder where the person is sad all the time, but then happy all of a sudden. dont know if he still is, but i guess, he and amy writes sad songs together..?? |

after reading all of the comments, no one has mentioned about the BANANA part meaning it describes an Asian.
a Banana is an Asian who is from a white country. chinese-americans and chinese-canadians, japanese-americans, korean-americans are jus some exmaples of bananas.
. a banana is ''yellow'' on the outisde, and an Asian is also ''yellow'' on the outside(oriental people have yellow skin, slightly) a banana is white in the inside, which means that the ''banana'' acts likes a western person. acting like a white person, but is still Asian.

I was jus listening to this song last night...so this is what ben has been up to.
i think this song is great. for me, they're voices dont realy blend well together tho... no offense, but anastacia's singing voice sounds like a man.
overall, a great song. its gonna be number one in the charts soon!
and..not really sure what the song means. a girl finally feeling happy??/ and shes waiting for all those unpleasant memories to go away?? |

I think this song is about a young girl who is in pain. depressed, confused, and lost in her life. and that god is trying to tell the girl a message.
''ive been watching you from a distance'' is god, because He can see the girl.
''give unto me your troubles.'' is saying god doesnt want the girl to be unhappy, so He wants her problems and just erase them..
''Ill endure yor suffering.'' that He'll end her problems and make the girl be all happy.
''Let it be the sun in your world of darkness.'' He wants a sun in her sad world, cuz suns are bright and happy:)
