First I joined the Army pre 9/11, I could have gotten out then but I didn't I was prepared to fight that fight. I was in and stuck but the time war on Iraq was declared, Iraq has nothing to do with 9/11, and if you think it does, do some damn research. But that is neither here nor there.
What I want to tell you all about is Stop-loss, that is were soldiers who are meant to be getting out don't. After their enlistment is up, they are stuck in. Now I plan to get out, go to college, be proud of the time I served, but have it a memory. With stop-loss I might not be able to get out when I want. Stop-loss due to a war with Iraq which has nothing to do with who attacked us. And what's next Iran, North Korea... Syria, who knows who else Bush might add to his "Axis of Evil" then more stop-loss, no one can get out when their enlistment is up. I know people who died after their enlistment was up. And for what? Oil. And don't tell me it's not about Oil, I was there I did missions that prove that... This isn't about what it should be. I wish you all knew that. |

Sad Sad Day, the Bush wins, but my state was Blue, I can't control the Nation but my voted counted in my state, though it might not have been counted yet seeing as how I'm overseas, yes in the Army, yes I went to Iraq, for 15 months, I'm infantry I've walked the streets, so I think my opinion on this is valid.
Fuck Bush.
I saw up there people saying "there are some smart people left in the country" as a result of the out come. Well take the education ranking of each state and plot it against who they voted for, yeah, smart people.
This song says a lot. And as I see even if I didn't whole heartedly agree that the Nation is ruled by the media, or that Bushes Tyranny needs shit talking, they have the freedom to do so.
I'm sick of hearing the people who are for Bush (my own mother!) basing there view on botched concepts, you don't know what you're talking about. But I'll let you speak, I'll let you say what you think, and when my boots stand once again on forgion soil, killing the innocent in the name of our Monkey looking Crusader wanna-be "war president" of a dictator, I will feel sorry for you,I will pity you, the American Idiot. |
