I love how throughout the entire song there is an underlying theme of being alone and in space...... this song is mind blowing... i also like how he just wants to be okay despite us being alone on this earth.... the first line "ive been sleeping with ghists" it can work on so many levels. I just think of an astronaut alone in space ... alone as in nobody there but also theres nobody else except us (being atheist its my interpretation) i just love the mood and miasma it create you know... best song ever and my anthem |

yeh i agree with all lyrics changes and glassinthetrees (great name BTW) interpretation... but when i first heard it i thought it was "she cleans herself until the image is erased" referring to how some rape victims will clean themselves furiosly to remove any mark the attacker has left on them .'but the skin is bruised all along her thights' good song tho |

This is a really nice song. I like to think it's about a guy who is dying and is telling his girlfriend to move on (who will be there to take my place, when im gone, you'll need love to light the shadows on your face) once he dies, and can she make it on her own? and that maybe he'll find a way back (heaven, spirit ect.,) to guide her ect., and saying that those we love never truly leave us (my life and love might still go on in your heart in your mind). it could be something different, either way its a beautiful song, what do you all think? |

I think this song is about a girl wth depression, and the chorus is about all the anti depressants the doctors put yuo on, but it doesnt work because as soon as you stop you are yourself again and sad, and the bleeding is self harm. I can really relate to this song. |
