Though my knowledge about PF's history is not comprehensive, I believe that this song is about Gilmour getting his pilot's licence, coz that's what 1st came to my mind. He's sounding so happy in the song, I acn't help but smile whenever I listen to it.
And I don't understand why people are obsessed with finding druggie innuendos in all songs. Why do you need to do drugs to get high when you have Pink Floyd's music in this world? |
