if you would care to read properly what raccoon said it was "i think they changed the words from "hearing aid started to melt" in the smiths, to "discman started to melt" in this one, in a way to illistrate how things have changed and technology has developed." In which saying placebo changed the lyrics from the other version. And can people decide whether it was the smiths or Morrissey! |

what do the words "I diagree that the whole Crow left of teh murder album is about the break up, but this song is obviously about" meaning i dont think its all about his breakup, but i know for a fact this one is, ever watched scuzz? incubus interveiw about this song, he clearly stated that this was originally about the breakup but to other people it can mean different things, its a song everyone can relate to. |

This is not a poser song, Any one who says it is obbviously isnt a big enough fan of music in general to understand it, thsi song is about a person feeling that life isn't worth living, it's kind of the goodbye note that one would leave. Throughtout the song the person remebers more and more decent things that have happened, until the end where the person realises life is worth living, therefore this song is pro life, it explains that when thing start to get you down, remember the things that are good. I can realate to this song as about half a year ago, i went hrough a rough patch, my friend commited suicide (rip ollie) and you never really get over it, so this song is stopping others from doing the same, ok some people have killed themselves listening to this, but think of how many people its saved...like me, and if they hadn't done it to this this song it would have just been another song by another band |

Oh god this is obvious! Brandon is tlking about a relationship, basically when he broke up with his girlfriend sometime between Make Yourself and Morning View, he still has anger from the break up, i diagree that the whole Crow left of teh murder album is about the break up, but this song is obviously about it, the lines - That seeing you is like pulling teeth And hearing your voice is like chewing tin foil If you break up with someone and dont stay friends seeing them is exactly like brandon sings so dont all be so niave |
