As a Christian band, they're basically saying that we can be better people (between who you are and who you could be) and that the world could be a lot different (between how it is and how it should be) and that when you're forgiven, it's like today never happened in God's eyes. Confuzzled, you have NO right to tell someone to burn in hell. You are not God, you cannot tell people to go to hell. We don't know what God has planned for him. Instead of spreading hate, why not spread love to everyone unconditionally? Christian means "Christ Like," and Jesus did not walk around condeming people, instead of he loved them and taught them. |

It's not really sick logic. To God our worldly possessions mean nothing. He was trying to prove to the devil the faith that Job had in him could not be un-done. I think this song is about two things. The story of Job, and the end of the wars when the messiah returns. Since we're on the subject. What kind of God would make his son into a Human, put him through trials, have him nailed to a cross, tortured and tormented, and let him burn in hell for 3 days to save his creation because he loved them?... A dang good one. |

Well, the bible is being disproven if you take it for face value. A lot of people believe that the bible was written so that people of the time could understand it. If you told someone back then that God may have started the earth through evolution, or something else, they would think you're a looney. You have to remember, people of those times had the education of probably a 3rd grader. God cannot be proven, nor disproven, that's where faith comes in. Life is nothing but tests and trials, and the prize comes depending on how well we've done. At least thats my opinion. |
