Self righteous suicide = Jezus thought God existed, so he gave everything he had to God and decided the only one he would listen to was God. The people around him coulnt reach him anymore until they had enough of his ignorant self righteous ass they decided to kill him. He on the other hand was so oblivious he decided he wanted to be a martyr instead of listening for once. The angels that will die are in this case the followers of the Chist thinking they must follow him instead of learning they should do anything but follow his example. I think Serj is talking to the Jungian collective unconciousness and how it should rise in everyone of us to take the wheel and steer us away from the path we as a whole, have chosen. He also wonders why we feel the need to surpress the urge to do good and act like we have break free from the thing we should embrace. Tool-like-we-are-one-counciousness-if-we-scream-it-loud-enough-paranoia? Hell yeah! It's just a ride dudes so do shrooms an keep living the poetry! |

I am lazy and so are you so here goes: Piercing radiant moon = The moon provides light in the dark but it reflects too much light. Too much light is not good for you. spiders = evil thoughts hair = ever seen a bald chick. Not sexy!!! Hair makes her sexy. June= Iuno in Latin. Iuno was the mother of Mars. Think about it.... Take your time. The church was supposedly the bride of christ and we are all his and her sons and daughters. Mars is the god of masculinity and he is trying to overtake power from poor June. Mars was also the god of war so there you have it. Serj saw the war in Irak and Afghanistan coming. The Dude abides to all Big Lebowski fans out there. This song is clearly about alcoholism and how some dude finds himself somewhere others forced him to be so he doesnt have to take responsibility for his own actions. He thinks the logical thing to do is to get eight miles high to be able to take distance from his own situation and reasess his current state of mind. Or something like that... Whiskey rules!!!!!
