ok i haven't read all of the coments but one comment that has stood out so far is one by hardrocker. First off this election sucked, neither kerry or bush is compitent for the presidency. BUT i support kerrys views much more then bush's first off you cant mix religion with government, how many Americans or i should say US citezens are not Christian? Why must Bush force his religious belief upon the enire country? first off Bush believes that Sex Education should not teach of contraceptives because he believes its a Christians Duty to save themselves until marrige, but, hear me out, what about people who are not christian or are and just dont follow the religion so strictly and hey if a teens gonna have sex then THEY ARE GONNA HAVE SEX! and if they are only taught about Abstinence and they decide to have sex they wont no of contraceptives thus leading to outbreaks of many infectious sexually transmitted diseases plus unwanted pregnancies which leads to the next issue, Abortion, if bush bands abortion then there will be a lot of young mothers or mothers period that will be getting back alley abortions which will kill the mother. Plus what if a girl gets raped and gets pregnant? or what if the baby, if it were born would come out and be in so much pain it would be just about unbearable for the new born? About the rape, my best friends cousin got raped by some mental patient at Spring grove and got pregnant with quads. and all 4 of them are metally disabled, they are all 21 and have the mentality of 2 year olds. Getting onto another thing about bushes campains, i've notice people holding up signs stating "kerry will raise taxes" but where do taxes go? back into the country such as for road repair, EDUCATION! so in my opinion TAXES HAVE TO BE PAID! I go to a school in the county keep in mind im not talking about a city school, and i have no heat in my school, nor do i have air conditioning, plus i have text books that are from the 60's its rediculous, im 17 years old and am a tax paying United States citezen and this is what my moneys going towards? NOTHING! And all Bush wants to do is keep the rich rich and the poor poor, thus the tax cuts for the rich and the poor people having to pay them in what way does that make any sence? im sorry but thats just how i feel, you know what a potatoe could be in office and the country would be ran fine, but aparently bush's IQ is less then that of a potatoe especially with this so called "War on Terror" talkin about one of the most vaguest wars i've ever heard of i mean thats as bad as fighting a "War on ugliness" which would have our President bush the first to be taken out |
