bleh... my friend and I discussed this awhile back and came to the conclusion it was about human growth. I forget the entire reasoning behind it but the song states "Black then white are all I see in my infancy. Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me, let's me see" black and white meaning right and wrong, or simple truths. Red and yellow perhaps meaning new feelings, something more complicated and sophisticated. it just kinda falls into place... |

lol that eleven theory is quite funny... let me laugh a little more... also the whole death of his mother... oh man. ignorance is funny. 11 has to do with his mother leaving him I believe. Also this is typically the age of a child finding that they are their own person, not connected to their parent figures, and that their parents have a life outside of themselves. and the one and one are eleven has to do with perfect numbers or something blah blah blah. Maynard's a bit too smart for me sometimes. |

This song, to me personally, has meaning to those moments when you feel sooo alone in the world. "Watch the weather change. Mention this to me. Mention something, mention anything..." its when you feel the world is collapsing on you and you wish someone would say anything as you're being swallowed whole. The weather, to me, represents a change in mood, a change in your disposition.
I didn't know Reflection, Disposition and Triad were meant to be one song, so I'll further look into that. |

"H." may be slang for herion, Musicpsych0, but here it is the scientific term for Hydrogen which is the base of all water based materials. "Under these tears" and "snake is drowned" are both apart of the two reoccuring motifs in the song, the snake and the storm. Notice also how neither the snake nor the storm really come to a settling end. Just progress and climax but never end. Just a though... I forget where I got this information but email me if you really want more... |
