| i think there are 2 versions the somewhat litteral & the interperatory version ill state the seemingly litteral version its about a guy/girl thats decides to redecorate their house & in doing so gets ellectrocuted if u keep this in mind & read it all it makes sense the first verse self explanitory, break (in a hail of sparks...) is about the acctual shock from the voltage, the second verse is the effects of the shock which is litterally when ure body goes into shock, u cant talk u cant breathe & if enough voltage itwill englargen ure heart, the wake up part is the EMT or person that finds them i think, & the was this all we hoped for part i think is him/her looking back at how bored they were & they wanted something to happen & to do something to not be bored, its sort of the ironic thing of u were looking for excitment & here u almost die, irony...the 2nd is what most people have said about the drab of ure life the things u wanted before turned to unimportant once u have them, thats how i allways saw it till now acctually just reading these i took them litterally for the first time ever but i dont think it diminishes the song as much as it could have because there is still that irony, we search for things & get completely different outcomes & are we satisfied with them? the versions kinda fit together if u think about it... | |
